Are you occupying? In Luke 19:13, Jesus told the story of a certain nobleman who went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, “Occupy till I come.” The word “occupy”is actually a military term. And another translation says the nobleman gave his servants money and said “Do business with this until I return.” And in the Old Testament, God told the children of Israel to “go possess the land.” Are you ready to see some things change? We had a great time at the Greenwood Fall Festival October 1st. Thanks to the Greenwood Parks Department for inviting us to be a part of it. It was a tremendous turnout and a great family event. And congratulations to James from Greenwood who won our drawing for a $200 Gift Certificate from Yeager's!
We met a lot of great people at the October 4th Faith & Blue National Night Out, hosted by the Fort Smith Police Department at Central Mall. There were so many churches and local agencies there! Thanks to everyone who worked hard to prepare for that event!
